There are many ways you can help the Audrain Humane Society.

Donate to the AHS

This is the most direct way to help, and every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. You can donate online, by phone, or by mail.


Volunteer to Help

The Audrain Humane Society relies on volunteers to help with a variety of tasks and fundraising. There are many different volunteer opportunities available, so you can find something that fits your interests and skills.


Host a Fundraiser

You can host your own fundraiser to benefit the Audrain Humane Society. This could be anything from a Facebook fundraiser to a bake sale to a car wash to a silent auction. 


Spread the word

Tell your friends, family, and colleagues about the Audrain Humane Society and the importance to our community. You can also share their social media posts and encourage others to donate or volunteer. Use this link to share our donation form, they can use their PayPal account or a debit/credit card.

Donate to the AHS

Many don't realize that the Audrain Humane Society and the Mexico Animal Shelter are separate organizations. The Audrain Humane Society operates only from donations from the community, we receive no funding from the city of Mexico. Regardless of the amount, your donation will benefit our organization tremendously.

How to make a donation or become a sponsor.

  1. Using the "Donate Now" button below, you will access our donation form hosted by PayPal.
  2. You may choose to make a one-time, monthly, or yearly gift to the AHS. (You must have a PayPal account to use this feature.
  3. Select the level of donation you’d like to make.
  4. If you prefer to have the funds go to a specific purpose, you can select either the "General Fund" or "Fostering Efforts. If no selection is made, it will go to the General Fund for use as appropriate by the AHS.
  5. To further support the AHS and offset some of our costs, you may elect to cover our processing fees. This isn't required, but would be appreciated.
  6. Once you've selected your method of payment (PayPal account or Credit/Debit card), you'll see a confirmation screen or an area to enter your payment information and any comments.
